Wieden & Kennedy

16 Hanbury St, Shoreditch

Wieden and Kennedy was the re development of the ground floor and basement reception and meeting areas for a global advertising agency (Designers Reddeer) produced the concept and we were fortunate to carry out the fit out.

The theme was reuse the used (i.e. Recycle) where possible stripped out fixtures were re purposed and used on other projects with less than 5% going to the recycling centre.

Over 75% of the new fixtures were manufactured from recycled materials with plastic cladding coming from recycled pig buckets and chopping boards, paint finishes were all green options with special attention to the entrance matt being made from recycled trainers.

The inclusion of planting and the fully grown tree was to bring the open park spaces into the work environment, you will see the cycle storage room this was originally a fully mahogany boardroom that was stripped out and reinstalled in a local bakery, again the focus was on healthy living and encouraging fitness

This was a one of a kind installation and a tribute to sustainability v design
